San Francisco Chronicle did a pretty good job of summarizing the opinions of several analyst who note who risky the 770 is for Nokia.
The 770 does not include a cell phone, the field in which Nokia has made its mark, so users must use a separate cell phone to make a Bluetooth connection. The Nokia 770 operates on Linux software, a change from the company’s smart phones, which operate on the Symbian platform. Officials hope the move to Linux will prompt programmers to develop new software for the device. Analysts are not quite sure what the prospects will be for the 770.
